With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Faye Mears of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband James Mears, Sr.; her son Rufus Lynn Mears; her mother Wilma Fridell Harden; and her sister Janet Walker. She is survived by : her son Eddie Mears (Donna) of Pikeville, TN; her grandchildren, Finn Cillin Shae O'Meara, Justin Ray Mears, Shani Kendrick, Matt Brown, Sierra Mears and Ayden Mears; her great grandchildren, Kadience and Zander Edge; and her siblings, Cloie D. Issacson of Signal Mountain, TN, Lilly Moody (Beecher Greer), Debbie Barker, Mary Evelyn Porter (Randy) of Dalton, GA and Albert Harden, Jr. of Dunlap, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses.
