It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence Johnston Jr. of Piney Flats, Tennessee, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Johnston and Virginia Johnston; his in-laws, Henry and Pauline Turner; and his sister Glenda Melton.

He is survived by : his wife Pat Turner Johnston; his daughter Julie Estes (Greg); his grandchildren, Parker Estes of Jonesville and Luke Estes of Jonesville; his sister Rita Freese of Naples, FL.; and his close friends, Steve "Doc" Webb and Chad Cox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to : Pennington Gap First United Methodist Church Food Pantry or First Baptist Church of St. Charles.
