With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fannie Imogene Weatherly Rupe of Piney Flats, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thurman Weatherly and Monia Ellen Wilson Weatherly; her sisters, Maxie Whittaker and Velma Milhorn; her nephew Mike Whittaker; and her brother-in-law Earl Kaylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Missy Hale (Cindy) of Elizabethton and Angie Oliva of Piney Flats; her stepson Chip Rupe; her grandchildren, Chance Hale (Brittany) of Piney Flats, Anna Oliva of Piney Flats and Grace Oliva of Piney Flats; her great grandchildren, Maci Hale and Zoe Hale; and her siblings, Mary Kaylor, Ann Hodge and Charles Weatherly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Piney Flats First Baptist Church (100 Cherry Rd, Piney Flats, TN 37686). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the New Bethel Cemetery (592 New Bethel Rd, Piney Flats, TN 37686).
