With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Eugene Corder of Piney Flats, Tennessee, born in Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Winters and Otelia Cox Winters; his former wife Ida Jane Corder; his brother John Corder; and his great grandchild Omar Nathaniel Aaron Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kinley Corder; his daughter Mary Leonard (Kelvin Baldwin) of Nashville; his stepdaughters, Tracy Britt of Nashville and Emma Britt of Johnson City; his siblings, Patty Fields and Jim Corder; his granddaughters, Ida Leonard and Amber Leonard of Piney Flats; his stepgrandson Jon Moody of Johnson City; and his great grandchildren, Mariska, Mercedez of Johnson City, Matthew Leonard of Piney Flats, Dante Williams of Johnson City and Connor Nugent of Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
