He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Spencer and Josie Middleton Spencer; his wife Shirley Mae Spencer; and his grandson Nic Spencer. He is survived by: his daughters, Chris Ellison (Freddie), Diane Skelton, Cheryl Stanfill (Rudy), Donna Newman (Jimmy), Pam "Connie" Bond, Angie Garner (Shawn) and Brooke Garner. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
