He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernie Moore and Evelyn Moore; and his great grandchild Addalynn. He is survived by : his cousin Bill Barlow; his wife Tammy Moore; his children, James Moore of Louisville, Richard Moore Sr. (Joyce) of Knoxville, TN and Theresa Taylor (Amanda) of Harriman; his grandchildren, Richard Jr., Christina (Alex), Dedjrikk, Madoxx, Clementine and Luna; his great grandchild Cheryl; and his siblings, Gene Moore, Phillip Moore, June Moore Meffert (John) of Shepherdville, KY and John Brown of Irvin. He is also survived by his family dearly, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to Jones Mortuary for help with funeral costs.
