He was predeceased by: his father Robert Choate. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Choate; his wife Deborah Choate; his children, Crystal Wright (Terry), Shane Choate (Savannah) and Daniel Choate (Kayla); his grandchildren, Michaela Carpinet, Zachery Choate and Willow Choate; and his siblings, Pamela Slack, Sarah Bond (Russell), Christopher Choate and Quinton Choate. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
