He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon C. Spivey Sr. and Dollie Mae Spivey (Parks); his siblings, Eva Rogers, Margie Ewing, Pamela McMurry and Michael Spivey; and his grandson Timothy Spivey.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary K. Spivey (Barrett); his sons, Don Spivey (April) and Anthony Spivey (Lucia); his grandsons, Noah Spivey, Sebastian Spivey and Leo Eldon Spivey; and his sisters, Delia Burns (Jeff), Renata Cowley and Jerry Waters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
