He is survived by: his wife Emily Campbell Ashford of Stella; his daughters, Sherry Ashford Philpot, Chris of Pulaski and Shannon Ashford of Murfreesboro; his brothers, Glen Ashford, Dot of Pulaski, Stacy Ashford and Geannie of Decatur, AL; and his grandchildren, Cade and Campbell Philpot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
