She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie David and Audrey Ridiner James of Virginia; her husband Marvin Busby; her grandsons, Jeffrey and Jesse Busby; and her son-in-law Ronnie Hopper.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Busby (Theresa), John Busby (Veronica), Deborah Hopper and Catherine Boshers (Jeffrey); and her close friend Krystal. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and her loving pet.
