He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Lloyd "Monk" and Elizabeth Ann Burnett (Hill); his wife Beverly J. Burnett; his grandson Mitchell Johnson; his siblings, David Eugene Burnett, H. Roy "Silent" Burnett and Arlene Hackworth; his nieces, Dawn Rieger and Deanna Burnett; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Woodside and Sharon Burnett.
He is survived by : his children, Lisa Dessi (James), Bryan Burnett, Sheila Johnson (Robert) and Theresa Rennie (Michael); his grandchildren, Brian Dessi (Ashleigh), Eric Dessi (Anastasia), Bobbi Jo Burnett, Elisha Johnson (Kimberly), Tara Johnson, Alexa Thornton (Matthew), Michael, Jr., Tanner, Victoria and Reese Reenie; his great grandchildren, Sean, Grayson, Haven, Adeline and Cole; his siblings, Robert J. Burnett, Edward R. Burnett, H. Leroy Burnett (Irma) and Alberta M. Woodside; and his sister-in-law Susan Burnett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
