With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Cawthon of Readyville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 25, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Cawthon and Florence Knox Cawthon; and his sisters, Ruth Cawthon Paschal, Jewel Cawthon Gillespie, Doris Cawthon Lynch and Mattie Sue Cawthon Gillespie.

He is survived by : his wife Billie Jean Sanders Cawthon; his daughters, Sarah Alexander and Regina Mullins (Danny); his grandchildren, Michael Alexander (Taylor), Amanda Alexander, Jesse Alexander (Emily), Ben Alexander (Kaitlyn), Derrick Mullins (Brandy), Dustin Mullins (Paula), Tabitha and Stephanie Mullins; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Conner, Ethan, Ty, Maverick, Mila Alexander, Bradyn and Raylynn Mullins; and his nephew Butch Gillespie.

Donations can be made to Short Mountain Bible Camp, Thyatira Cemetery or New Hope Church of Christ.
