He was predeceased by: his father Daniel R. Rodgers Sr.; and his grandparents, Horace, Emma Riden, Frank Rodgers and Mary Fennell.

He is survived by: his mother Nora Rodgers of Riceville; his siblings, Carol Burnette (Mark) of Athens, TN and Dallas Rodgers (Lynette); and his siblings' children, Darrin Burnette of Athens, Elijah Rodgers and Emma Rodgers of Riceville. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
