He is survived by: his children, Robert F. Derfler (Ann) of Rickman, Ronald T. Derfler of Phoenix and Lorna Mazzuca (Allen) of Fredericksburg; his sister Jean Forhan (Donald); his sister-in-law Roselle Derfler (Genetti); and his grandchildren, Corey Derfler, Michael Derfler (Amy), Cheri Derfler, Hayley Midgette (Matthew) and Aubrie Kiel.
