He was predeceased by : his parents, Rex Ivy and Lela Frances Mealer Ivy; his sisters, Carolyn McAlister and Deborah Ogden; and his great grandchild Conner Ivy.

He is survived by : his wife Audie Dean Ivy; his sons, Terry Joe Ivy (Monica) of Gleason and Tony Ivy (Karla) of Ridgely, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Chassidy Byington (Ronnie), Kristen Sandoval (Esteban), Justin Permenter (Hillary), Tony Ivy, Jr. (Sabrina) and Kelsey Ivy (John Covington). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
