It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Whitaker of Ripley, Tennessee, born in Twin Falls, Idaho, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Whitaker, Sr. and Alma Fuhrman Whitaker. He is survived by : his wife Sandie Whitaker of Ripley, TN; his children, Daryl VanVeldhuizen (Pam) of Reno, NV, Bryan VanVeldhuizen of Lori, CA, Jim Whitaker of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Richardson (Brittany) of Snelling, CA, Teri Jo Bond (Michael) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Jeni Jo Foster (John) of Henderson, NV and Tammy Jo Stone (Jared) of Erda, UT; and his siblings, Tom Whitaker (Becky) of Lodi, CA and Bonnie Conner of Idaho. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
