It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alonzo Dickerson in Ripley, Tennessee, born in New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father William Lee Dickerson, Sr.; and his brother William Lee Dickerson, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Pugh Dickerson; his children, Ann Rodgers (Steve), Cheryl Bartley and Tommy Frank (Darla); his siblings, Carolyn Burge and Robert "Bobby" Dickerson (Betty); and his sister-in-law Joyce Dickerson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
