He is survived by : his wife Brenda Scallions (Steelman); his children, Paula Scallions of Charlotte, NC, Pam Broderick, Lisa Layne Smith of Jasper, GA, Kenneth Marshall Scallions of Ft. Mill, SC and Jim Layne of Alamo, TN; and his siblings, Pat Nelson, Nora Scallions, Virginia Jones, Terry Scallions, Jerry Scallions and Bill Scallions. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
