She was predeceased by : her parents, Sidney Duncan and Della Walk Duncan Shubert; her husband Melvin Odell Hendrix, Sr.; her sons, Terry Ferrell and Michael Ferrell; her stepchildren, Melvin Odell Hendrix, Jr. and Bonnie Fuqua; and her sister Belle Wells.

She is survived by : her sons, Tommy Ferrell (Reese) of Brownsville, TN and Lloyd Ferrell (Rena) of Lexington, TN; her stepsons, Marcial Hendrix of Ripley, TN and Tom Hendrix of Texas; her daughters, Janice Leek (Tommy) of Maury City, TN, Sandy Case of Maury City, TN and Christie King of Maury City, TN; her stepdaughter Paula Brown of Ripley, TN; and her siblings, Charlie Duncan (Lula) of Somerville, TN, Opal Roberts (Celeste Looney), Marty Shubert (Leroy) of Dancyville, TN, Jerry Thompson (Thomas) of Middleton, TN and Willie Mae German (Roy Neal) of Whiteville, TN. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the Hendrix family requests that donations be made to Lea and Simmons Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
