He is survived by: his mother Clairece Palmer Powell; his children, Tiffany Parker (Thomas) and Christopher Powell; his grandchildren, Jayden Powell Parker (Arianna), Kayliana Parker, Gabriel Parker and Elijah Parker; his siblings, Jerome Powell (Lori) and Jean Payne (Rodney); and his sister-in-law Tonya Powell.
A burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:50 AM. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery (8315 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687).
