She was predeceased by: her parents, Weaver Holtsclaw and Ethel Johnson Holtsclaw; her husband Lincoln Johnson; her siblings, Orville, Voyd, Conley, Carmel, Dana Holtsclaw, Verna Hughes, Beulah Hughes, Renolee Whitehead and Norma Birchfield; and her stepmother Nettie Edney Holtsclaw.
She is survived by: her close friends, Mary Odom, Mary Ruth Barnett and Edna Filinger.
