She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Hughes and Clara Hughes (Shuffler); her husband Larry Turbyfill; her brothers, Loy Hughes, JC Penny Hughes and Dean Hughes; and the father of her child Vernon Crain.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Byrd (Randy); her grandchildren, Marcus Byrd (Brittany) and Daranda Morgan (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Eowyn McCoury, Savannah McCoury, Anakin Morgan, Keturah Morgan and Annistyn Byrd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tetrick Rhododendron Chapel (8460 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (8460 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687).
