It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Green of Rock Island, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jones and Mary Hillis Patrick Jones; her husband Walter L. Green; and her brothers, Tommy and James Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Frazier (Chris) of Morrison, TN, Robert Green (Christy) of McMinnville, TN and Shellie Griffin (Dale) of Rock Island, TN; her grandchildren, Brandy Cantrell (Jason), Leslie Minge, Jonathan Green, Matthew Harbin and Christy Fults; and her sister Mary L. Williams (Hilton Lynell) of Morrison, TN. She is also survived by nine great – grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the High's Chapel (1138 Laurel Creek Rd, Rock Island, TN 38581).
