She was predeceased by: her mother Louise Vaugh Farrar. She is survived by: her father Virgil Farrar; her siblings, Rachel Farrar and Landon Farrar; her husband David Ray Tate Jr.; and her children, Cody Tate (Ashley), David Taylor (Darlene), Sheila Stewart (Scott), Lindsey Barry (Zeb), Natalie Felty (Richard) and Amanda Beth Tate. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (182 Fitchtown Rd, Altamont, TN 37301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Grace Chapel Cemetery.
