She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Allen Franklin and Mary Frances Bell Franklin; her husband Ernest C. Adcox, Sr.; her son David Lowell Gunter, Jr.; and her brother Ralph Edward Franklin.

She is survived by : her brothers, George Allen Franklin of Walterboro, SC and Jim Franklin (Debbie) of Rockwood, TN; her stepdaughter Sherry Adcox of Norris, TN.; and her granddaughter Lena Burris (Rick) of Rocky Top, TN..
