She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lents and Lyda Jolley Lents; her brother Charles Monroe Lents; and her sons, Charles Ray Griffin and Jeffrey McKinley Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Lynn Buchannon of Rockwood, TN, Sandra Kay Thompson of Rockwood, TN and Teresa Jean Shadden; her close friend David Trent; and her pet Star. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren2 Nephews and one Niece.
