Ellen Louise Trent Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 88, Ellen Louise Trent of Rogersville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Meldrom and Emma Elizabeth Meldrom; her children, Larry Trent and Lora Trent; and her husband L. B. Trent.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn; her children-in-law, Robert Purkey and Jan Trent; her grandchildren, Patricia, Samantha (Jeff Bowers), Martha (Tom Davis), Amanda (Michael Seals), Natalie Seal, Marshall Seal and Bella Davis; her great grandchildren, Dustin Albright, Matthew Davis, Damien Phillips, Megan Albright, Logan Williams, Jacob Bowers and Ellie Steinkuehler; and her siblings, Loretta Mabe, Daniel Meldrom, Jr. and Barbara Hatfield. She is also survived by nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cemetery Are Asked. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bailey Cemetery (582 W Poor Valley Rd, Rogersville, TN 37857).
