With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joyce Estell Gourley of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on May 23, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gourley and Mattie Asbury Gourley; her siblings, Thelma Shell, Marjorie Fields, Mildred Bowlin, Nancy Harville, Georgia Gourley, Margaret Gourley, Sally Dean, John, William, George and Walter Gourley; and her close friend Johnny LeRoy.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Gourley (Beth) of Afton; her grandchildren, Jessica Templeton (Brian) of Rogersville, Rachel Stewart of Rogersville, Kassie Johnson of Indiana and Jeremy Johnson of Bristol; and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Maggie Stewart, Natalie and Josie Templeton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broome Funeral Home Chapel (513 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
