With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mattie Sue Platt (Rogersville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Sr. Manis and Della Manis; and her siblings, Evelyn Patterson, Hugh "June" Manis Jr., Bill Manis, Ed Manis and Paul Manis.

She is survived by : her sons, Troy Lipe (Catherine) of Knoxville, TN, Charles "Chuck" King of Knoxville, TN and Tim King (Trena) of Riceville, TN; her grandchildren, Christopher Loope, Heather Perry (David), Travis Lipe, Alex Smith (Keaton), Bethany King, Jordan Moses, Sarah Blankenship and Alechia Rodgers; her great grandchildren, Eason Perry, Ryland Perry, River Smith, Dustin, Lee Zachary, Coleman, Silas and Jaylen; her siblings, Janie Bofink of Ooltewah, TN, Faye Stapleton of Church Hill, TN, Billie Swatsell (Harold) of Rogersville, TN, David Manis (Tommie) of Lawrenceville, GA and Jerry Manis (Pam) of Rogersville, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Manis of Russellville, TN and Reba Manis of Church Hill, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
