He was predeceased by : his parents, Waymon Maynard and Vallie Mai Dunn Maynard; and his sisters, Maxine Johnson and Freda Maynard. He is survived by : his grandson Michael Lynn Tompkins; his children, Michael Maynard of Cookeville, Brenda Tompkins of Gainesboro, TN and Phyllis Stapleton of Georgia; and his sister Maureen Hendrixson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
