She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Gordon and Jean Williams Gordon; her husband Melvin Lonning; and her siblings, Jimmy Gordon, Robert Gordon, Denton Gordon, Ronnie Gordon and Fannie Bogle.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lonning, Melvin Jasper Lonning, Sheilah Lonning (Mickey Wray) and Olivia Lonning (Tim Domnick); and her siblings, Frank Gordon of Murfreesboro, TN and Patsy Walls (Gene) of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
