He was predeceased by: his parents, Bass R. Goins and Louise Goins (Patton); his son Charles Dillard Goins; and his siblings, Rev. Kenneth Goins, John Goins and Christine Chestnut.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Goins (Standifer); his children, Bass "Marty" Goins (Teresa), Coy Goins (Annika) and Virginia "Gina" James (Michael) of Soddy-Daisy; and his siblings, Ted Goins (Linda) of Grand Ridge, Malcolm Goins (Linda) of Dayton, Jay Goins (Brenda) of Dayton, Dewayne Goins (Alice) of Bakewell, Shirley Jewell of Dayton, Barbara Sullivan of Graysville, Connie Day (Richard) of Dayton and Brenda Smith of Graysville. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sale Creek Church of God (14919 Old Dayton Pike, Sale Creek, TN 37373). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Standifer Cemetery.
