She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Eldridge Gardenhire and Martha Stutz Gardenhire; and her grandparents, William D. Gardenhire, Sr., Alice Wilson Gardenhire, Charles F. Stutz and Della Lowry Stutz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Brand and Michelle Pierce-Lester (Bobby); her brother Senator Todd Gardenhire (Sylvia); her grandchildren, Michelle Spencer (Jake), John Brand (Katie), Tripp Lester, Pierce Lester and Paul Lester; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Spencer, Edison Brand and Samuel Brand.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lake Drive Baptist Church (16221 May Rd, Sale Creek, TN 37373).
