She was predeceased by : her father Buford Simbeck (Ruth); and her brother Jimmy Ray "Crickett" Simbeck (Don Dixon). She is survived by : her sons, Troy Baxter (Shannon) and Phil Baxter (Carol); her stepdaughter Sherri Kizer (Nickie); her siblings, Harley Simbeck (Martha), Bob Simbeck (Mary Alice), Don Simbeck (Jane) and Ann Sue Ayers; and her grandchildren, Matthew Baxter (Chrissy), Kayla Baxter (Avery), Josh Baxter and Bob Barnett. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to plant wildflowers in her memory.
