She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elmer and Nettie Jewel Clifton Sweat; her son William "Bill" Smith; and her siblings, Ottie Martin, Ella Mae Martin, Betty Sue Rickman, Tinnie Leona Sweat, Hattie Elizabeth Sweat, James Elmer Sweat Jr., J. W. Sweat and Paul David Sweat.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Selmer (160 Cypress Ave, Selmer, TN 38375). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Falcon Cemetery (756 Falcon Rd, Selmer, TN 38375).
