She was predeceased by: her parents, Fayette Smith and Ethel Davis Smith; her husbands, George Knight and Clyde Dawson; her sisters, Emma Jo Willis and Adeline Marchesseault; her stepchildren, Ronald Dawson, Elizabeth Carter and Sue VanAllman; and her grandson Matthew Davenport.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Davenport and Jim Davenport (Linda); her grandchildren, Melvin Dawson (Frances), Royce Dawson (Mettawee), Carolyn Turney (Jimmy), Phillip Dawson (Danette), Ernest Dawson (Sadie), Crystal Cagle (Chris), Misty Gaddy (Jason), Dustin Davenport, Amy Brewer-Davenport (Andrew) and Sarah Davenport; and her great grandchildren, Klyleigh Davenport and Dylan Davenport. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
