He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jess Coppinger and Nellie Coppinger; his wife Virginia Hamblen Coppinger; his granddaughter Carrie Hudson Thomas; his children, Vern Coppinger of Whitwell, TN, Barry Coppinger (Sheila) of Soddy Daisy, TN and Karla Gay Wilbur (Joe) of Knoxville, TN; and his grandchildren, Brent Hudson, Farrah Coppinger, Jennifer Coppinger, Brandon Coppinger, Wade Coppinger, Jesse Coppinger, Brianna Angel and Zachary Coppinger. He was also cherished by husband of 61 years, a father and grandfather.
