He is survived by: his wife Glenna Gholston; his children, Paul Gholston (Windy) and Carla Gholston Griffith (Mark); his siblings, Edward Gholston (Melba) and Janis Bowman (Bobby); his grandchildren, Brandon Layne, Stephanie Layne, Ruth Gholston, Laural Gholston, Maddie Griffith and Cameron Griffith; and his great grandchildren, Riley Layne, Asher Layne and Emma Layne.
