He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie LaFollette; his parents, America Alliance and James Walter LaFollette; and his siblings, Paul LaFollette, Fred LaFollette and Helen Myers.

He is survived by: his children, Jason LaFollette and Allison Cummings; and his grandchildren, Catherine Cummings, Nathaniel LaFollette and Damon Hall.
