It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Irene Harper (Sevierville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Duell Harper; her son Ted Harper; her grandsons, Austin Young, Chris Harper and Cody Young; her siblings, Dan McMurry, Bud McMurry and Margaret Smith; and her brother-in-law Wayman Harper.
She is survived by: her son Lon Harper; her granddaughters, Linda Walters (Scott), Amanda Holmes (Robin) and Melanie Harper Mills; her sisters, Ruth Shelton and Peggy Moody; and her siblings-in-law, Loy Gene (Pat Harper) and Laura Belle Harper. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
