He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father J. W. Thomason; his sister Donna Darlene Thomason; his wife Elizabeth D. Thomason; his sons, Jeff Thomason (Jessica) and Michael Averett (Christina); his grandchildren, Jay Thomason, Cameron Thomason, Laura Peyton Thomason and Adilyn Sinclair Thomason; his mother Helen Thomason Kyser; and his sisters, Ramona Hall (Franky) and Gail Oakes (John). He was also cherished by grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
