She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Byrd and Mayme Byrd; her husband J. P. Fox; her siblings, Tommy Byrd (June Byrd), Clyde, David Byrd and Ellen Hurley (Bill Hurley); her son-in-law Raymond Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Damon, Jayrob, Jeremy Hamilton and Erica Manning.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nina Ruth Hamilton and Wilma Jean Manning (Michael Manning); her grandchildren, Dr. Shana Hamilton-Lockwood and Dustin Manning of Sevierville; her granddaughter-in-law LeeAnn Leatherwood (Charlie Leatherwood) of Sweetwater; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Hamilton of Sweetwater, Jayley Lockwood and Zander Lockwood of Sevierville; her sister Dena Williams (Verlis Williams); and her sister-in-law Carolyn Green (Marion Green). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a college fund for Jayley, Zander and Alyssa (Lucy's beloved great-grandchildren).
