He was predeceased by: his parents, William Helton and Hattie Helton; and his siblings, Wilburn Helton, Mack Helton, Eliga Helton, Reece Helton, Zora Montgomery and Nellie Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Helton; his children, Bill Helton (Debbie), JoAnna Helton and Trish Myers (Steven); his grandchildren, Danny Manning, Sandy Manning, Matt Maning, Kim Wampler, Randy Wampler, Allen Helton, April Helton, Creed Myers and Michael Norton; and his siblings, Charlie Helton, Annice Rogers (Jack), Juanita Abbott and Olivia Crisp. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
