She was predeceased by: her mother Vola McCarter; her brother Ray McCarter; and her nephews, Jeff Sluss and Tony McCarter. She is survived by: her husband Cleo Hurst; her son Tim Hurst; her daughter-in-law Carla Hurst; her grandchildren, Carson Hurst and Alex Hurst; her sister Barbara Sluss; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Sluss and Faye McCarter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
