He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lindsey and Ethel Lindsey; his brother Larry Lindsey; and his son-in-law Harry Donovan. He is survived by: his uncle Frank Lindsey; his wife Linda Lindsey; his children, Robert N. Lindsey (Kim) and Cynthia M. Donovan; his grandchildren, Joel Lindsey, Claire Lindsey, Lindsey Donovan, Hunter Donovan and Kylee Donovan; his brothers, Tom Lindsey and Roger Lindsey (Tonja); and his sister-in-law Timandra Lindsey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many long-time friends.
