He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Dykes and Dora Dykes; and his siblings, Fred, Roy, Ken, James, Billy Dykes, Grace Gibson, Mayme Gibson, Lucy Gibson, Florence Morgan and Ann Bull.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Dykes; his children, Archie L. Dykes, Sparkie Morgan (Verlin), Donna Ward (Byron) and Sherry Russell (Brian); his grandchildren, Ashley Steger, John Steger, Summer Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Kim Ward, Nathaniel Morgan, Krystal Morgan, Kelsey Middleton, Blake Middleton, David Russell, Chris Morgan and Brandon Ward; his great grandchildren, Rusty Steger, Bently Robinson and Kaitlyn Steger; his sister-in-law Carl Dykes; and his sister Betty Humphrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dripping Springs Missionary Baptist Church Youth Group, The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday with a memorial service following at 7 PM at Dripping Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
