He was predeceased by : his parents, Rondow Claiborne Jett Sr. and Augusta Lillian Jett; his former life partner Peggy Lee Jett; his son Marty Ray Jett; his siblings, James Jett, Adrian Jett, Anna Mary Smith, Gordon Jett and Charles Jett; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Smith and Frank Brown.
He is survived by : his wife Maudene Westbrook Jett; his children, Dreama Doane (William), Tonya Jinks (Steve), Rondow Jett III (Diane Goetz), Angelia Capps (Gary) and Sherry Welbes (Bob); his siblings, Doris Brown, Donna Suddarth (Ronnie) and Gary Jett; and his sisters-in-law, Carrie Lou Jett, Lucy Jett and Glenda Jett. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 precious great-grandchildren.
