He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Elkins; his wife Shirley Powell; his children, Mike Powell (Kathleen), Kelly Powell Knight and Amy Powell; his grandchildren, Jacob, Lillian Thomas (Taylor), Thomas Powell and Kate Knight (Matt); and his sister-in-law Linda Joyce Vannatta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feldhaus Memorial Chapel (2022 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
