She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Owens and Alma Brinkley Owens; her husband Chester Leon Howell; her daughter-in-law Lisa Boyce Howell; and her siblings, Johnny Lenard Owens, Jean Owens Mathis, Betty Owens Prince and Kathy Gail Owens.
She is survived by: her son Mark Leon Howell; and her sisters, Linda Jones of Manchester, Judy Syler of Manchester and Henrietta Owens Robinson of Shelbyville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
