It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence L. Brown of Shelbyville, Tennessee, born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brown and Pearl Brown. He is survived by: his wife Jean Brown; his daughters, Charlotte Potts of Shelbyville and Vickie Gardner (late Frank Gardner) of Shelbyville; his granddaughters, Tina (Ryan Corley) of Normandy, Brooke Smith (Michael Smith) of Bell Buckle, Stephanie Beddingfield (Tim Beddingfield) of Lynchburg and Mary Beth Jones (Daniel Jones) of Murfreesboro; his great grandchildren, Isaac Beddingfield, Mallorie Gardner, Dalton Corley, Chloe Thomas, Brady Beddingfield, Valynn Corley, Caden Thomas, Zoey Beddingfield, Kealey Smith, Mason Jones, Korbin Smith, Camden Jones and Crew Smith; and his great great grandchild Layla Grace Beddingfield.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
